AE1 1.6.1 Release Highlights
Updated
Prerelease (qa). This describes a release candidate that has not shipped to customers. Do not use externally until the final release is published.
Key Features
- Schools and districts can now upload their own school logo, giving system branding a more personal, local touch.
- System health views now correctly scope appliances to the right district and school, so administrators see accurate status information for their own sites.
- Improved reliability for device status monitoring, reducing the chance of stale or incorrect status showing after a device redeploy.
How Does It Impact Our Customers?
This release focuses on polish and reliability rather than new large-scale capability. Districts get a small but visible branding win with school logo uploads, and administrators reviewing system health will see more trustworthy, correctly scoped data for their own schools. Behind the scenes, device status monitoring has been hardened so redeployed devices report their status more consistently, reducing false alarms and support confusion.
What Is EPIC+ 1.6?
EPIC+ 1.6.1 is a maintenance release that refines and stabilizes capabilities delivered in the 1.6 line. It ships targeted fixes to system health reporting and device status monitoring, alongside a new school logo upload option, with no disruption to how districts already use EPIC+.
Why Does It Matter?
Accurate system health information and dependable device status are foundational to the trust districts place in EPIC+ to keep their audio enhancement systems running. By tightening the scoping of health data and shoring up device status reliability, this release helps administrators act on information they can trust. The addition of school logo uploads is a small step toward letting each school's EPIC+ experience feel like their own.

Fixes
System Health no longer shows appliances outside the selected district or school
The System Health area could show appliance data that did not belong to the district or school currently selected at the top of the screen, including a brief flash of the previous selection's appliances right after switching. Appliance lists and metrics on both the Dashboard and Fleet Wide Analytics tabs are now scoped strictly to the selected district and school.
- Found under System Health > Dashboard and System Health > Fleet Wide Analytics.
- The Fleet Wide Analytics cards now also respect the selected school, where previously they ignored it and always showed fleet-wide totals.
