EPIC System 1.8.1.5

Technical Release Notes 1.8.1.5

Additions

  • Added light control mode option for EduCamPTZ-B and EduCam360-C cameras.

    • In some environments, different lighting can cause image issues such as “banding” where lines appear across the image. This addition sets the PTZ-B to Indoor Light Mode automatically which fixes this issue.

    • There is a new setting for the cameras under “advanced” called light control mode which also provides additional options should another mode be suitable for an environment.

Fixes

  • Fixed EduCamPTZ-B issue where bulk configuration changes could result in the audio being disabled.

  • If a school had AND devices that were not set as SIP type devices, they could experience an issue due to the auto-detect/healing mechanisms introduced in 1.8.1.2. This is fixed in this release.

  • If a school had more than 5 ring groups or custom EPIC users with SIP extensions, the Kiosk volume modification introduced in 1.8.1.3 was only applying to some of the users. This has been fixed.

Tech Notes

  • May require pre-requisite patch if coming from version prior to 1.8.1.0

Known Issues

  • Occasional iFrame authentication required when accessing VIEWpath My Workshop from EPIC
