Additions

• Added protection to the EPIC paging dialplan, specifically to address “invalid extension but no invalid handler” issue caused by an intermittent missing reference in the configuration files.

Fixes

• Package updates caused LDAP commands to be processed between the shell and application differently, causing issues when there were spaces or certain special characters in the LDAP Base DN, password or other fields. Added new escape handling and quoting to fix this as well as restriction on certain characters in LDAP settings.

• Removed feature allowing Admin user with specific permissions to access any cameras by clicking on the EPIC map.

• Removed nonfunctional “Shared Camera” and “My Workshop” icons from the left-hand navigation menus for non-teacher users in EPIC - these menus can only be used by teachers and are still active for teacher users.

• Fixed AND issue where after pushing a bulk configuration all AND devices received the same SIP extension.

• Added exception handling for some failed http requests to devices.

• Made modification to unify network configuration files, in some cases modifying the EPIC IP could result in multiple network addresses for a single interface on the system, this is now fixed.

Tech Notes

• If upgrading from a version prior to 1.9.0.0, an upgrade should be scheduled and Audio Enhancement personnel will assist in upgrading an EPIC System from any previous version. Please contact support@audioenhancement.com or call 800-932-3578

• If upgrading from a 1.9.X version, the upgrade can be done as normal.
