EPIC System 2.1.1.1

Technical Release Notes 2.1.1.1

Additions

  • Added new event action which allows user to send the default factory amplifier levels to every amplifier in the system. It also allows user to reset any given amplifier to default levels while on the classroom volumes page.

Fixes

  • Fixed issue that caused bell schedules that were created as a copy to fail to play bells.

  • Added new reliability improvement for cases where EPIC servers would not immediately reconnect to District View if the District View restarted.

  • Changed console application behavior that could cause issues if remote support was disabled while viewing that menu.

Tech Notes

  • Version 2.1.0.0 and above is required for Mobile Application. Mobile App validates EPIC system when URL is entered to check for compatibility between app and server version.

  • Versions 1.9.0.0 and above can use the standard upgrade procedure to update to 2.1.0.0+.

  • Versions below 1.9 must contact Audio Enhancement for a custom upgrade process.

    • Users must first upgrade to 1.9.0.1 and then run the upgrade to 2.1.0.0+

    • There is a specialized import process from 1.8.1.0+ versions of EPIC to 1.9.0.0. Customers will need to be updated to 1.8.1.0 or above, then take a backup. After installation of 1.9.0.0, this backup can be directly imported into EPIC 1.9.0.0 for a seamless upgrade.
