Fixes
If EPIC was upgraded to a version that supports the MS700, from a version that doesn’t support these devices, EPIC would not be able to find these devices properly. This has been fixed.
In the Banzai settings for MS700 devices, the Automatic Noise Suppression was defaulting to ‘On’, this has been fixed to ensure this setting by default, is set to ‘Off’.
For the MS700, some of the settings were not changing the correct volumes, this has been fixed so that when changing the Ambient Mic Volume, it will update that setting correctly.
Found that when a bell was scheduled with multiple zones, it would only play for one zone. This has been fixed so the scheduled bell will play for all specified zones.
Tech Notes
Notice for EPIC Versions Prior to 2.2.1.0! SMS text notifications will not work until EPIC is upgraded to 2.2.1.0 or above.
EPIC 2.2.0.0 and District View 1.2.0.0 introduce a more secure connection mechanism. Both systems need to be updated simultaneously.
Version 2.1.0.0 and above is required for EPIC Mobile Application. Mobile App validates EPIC system when URL is entered to check for compatibility between app and server version.
Versions 1.9.0.0 and above can use the standard upgrade procedure to update to 2.1.0.0+.
Versions below 1.9 must contact Audio Enhancement for a custom upgrade process.
Users must first upgrade to 1.9.0.1 and then run the upgrade to 2.1.0.0+
There is a specialized import process from 1.8.1.0+ versions of EPIC to 1.9.0.0. Customers will need to be updated to 1.8.1.0 or above, then take a backup. After installation of 1.9.0.0, this backup can be directly imported into EPIC 1.9.0.0 for a seamless upgrade.
