Technical Release Notes 3.1.1
EPIC 3.0 is a major release update that includes significant user backend changes needed to provide enhanced security, improved performance, and support. Administrators should review the EPIC Interactive Training Module and prepare and train users prior to rolling out the updates.
When migrating from a version prior to 2.5, notification events must be manually migrated to a contact list and then added to events. If administrators edit events after updating to 2.5 prior to migrating contacts, event contacts may be lost.

Fixes
Found an issue where if an event has an action of ‘Start Other Event’, device-specific variable bindings like
{deviceName}or{roomName}would not be filled in with the appropriate information. This has been fixed to ensure the variable bindings have the correct information, and don’t just show the variables.Found an issue in EPIC when having multiple maps. When on the Map Setup page, if the map is moved to the side, it would affect other maps by moving them off to the side as well, and could not be recentered without removing the map image and adding it back. We have fixed this so the map will automatically recenter upon navigating away from the map.
There was an issue where, when assigning equipment like microphones or badges to users, it would only display the first 10 users, even if the school had more than 10. This has been fixed so admins can view all users added in their school when assigning equipment.
If a server with a large number of devices, including ITCs, the server is connected to AE+ and is attempting to push new firmware to the devices, the firmware update would fail. We have fixed this so no matter the number of devices, the firmware will go through successfully.
