Technical Release Notes 3.2.3
EPIC 3.0 is a major release update that includes significant user backend changes needed to provide enhanced security, improved performance, and support. Administrators should review the EPIC Interactive Training Module and prepare and train users before rolling out the updates.
When migrating from version 2.5 or lower, notification events must be manually migrated to a contact list and then added to events. If administrators edit events after updating to 2.5 before migrating contacts, event contacts may be lost.
Additions
Added logic to bring CZA-1300 devices out of standby mode when playing notifications or bells.
Improved performance of the User Equipment page by moving pagination processing to the server. The page now loads efficiently for customers with large equipment inventories while preserving existing search and sorting functionality.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where an InfoView device would sometimes not reappear in the Discovered Devices list after being deleted.
Fixed an issue where contact-only users received email invitations to the EPIC server. Contact-only users will no longer receive these invitations.
Fixed an issue where exporting logs from the EPIC Logs page did not include the entire selected date range.
Fixed an issue where duplicate email recipients could cause email delivery to fail.
Fixed an issue introduced in version 3.2.2 where editing a map could sometimes result in a CSRF error.
Breaking Changes
The API used to query user equipment has changed as part of the server-side pagination improvements. Consumers of this API may need to update their integrations to support the new request and response format.
