EPIC System 3.2.4

Technical Release Notes 3.2.4

EPIC 3.2.4 is a maintenance release focused on stability improvements across SIP/VoIP connectivity, device discovery, notifications, and the Advanced Event Engine.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where SIP outbound authentication could prevent EPIC from successfully connecting to certain third-party VoIP and SIP trunk providers. This ensures reliable outbound call connectivity for emergency dialing and autodial notifications to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP), such as 911, as well as other designated recipients.

  • Fixed SIP issues that arose when adding AND devices as "Speaker + Clock" from Discovery.

  • Fixed an issue where LDAP group lookups and user imports incorrectly forced an SSL connection even when SSL support was disabled, causing lookups to fail against non-SSL LDAP servers.

  • Improved device discovery performance on networks with heavy mDNS traffic, reducing CPU and memory usage.

  • Fixed an issue preventing the External API > SAFE Plus action from being configured in the Advanced Event Engine.

  • Fixed an issue where Device Status Notification emails for ITC devices were resent every hour even when no new devices had gone offline.

  • Fixed an issue where the scheduled device status report email could be sent with a blank body when no devices had actionable status changes.

Breaking Changes

  • None.
