EPIC 3.0 is a major release update that includes significant user backend changes needed to provide enhanced security, improved performance, and support. Administrators should review the EPIC Interactive Training Module and prepare and train users prior to rolling out the updates.

When migrating from a version prior to 2.5, notification events must be manually migrated to a contact list and then added to events. If administrators edit events after updating to 2.5 prior to migrating contacts, event contacts may be lost.

• Transporter Downloadable Logs — Added Transporter logs to EPIC's downloadable log list.

• Startup Connectivity Check — EPIC now checks connectivity to the configured AE1/AE+ URLs at startup and records the results in EPIC logs.

Fixes

• Microphone Reset on Non-Paired Alerts — Corrected an issue where microphones were not reset when a non-paired alert ended.

• SIP Configuration Conversion — Corrected a syntax error that could occur when converting SIP configuration.

• CSV Teacher-to-Room Import — Corrected an issue where CSV user import did not assign teachers to their rooms.

• User Equipment Badge Display — Corrected an issue where equipment badges could appear on multiple pages.

• LDAP Base DN Validation — LDAP Base DN fields now accept spaces, allowing valid organizational-unit names to be saved.

• LDAP SSL Settings — LDAP settings now correctly preserve the SSL Support selection, enabling synchronization with non-SSL sites.

• Map Elevation Labeling — Clarified that map elevation values are measured in meters.

• SSO CSV Import — Corrected email handling for users added through CSV import.

• Barionet Stability — Fixed an error that could occur when stopping all zone output devices.

• User Data Protection — Improved protection for user data retrieval.

• SIP Outbound Proxy Routing — Corrected loose-routing behavior and outbound proxy formatting.

• Badge Status Polling — Fixed late device responses being discarded and healthy badges being reported as unavailable.
